Artsy Fartsy

One of my most favorite places in the world is the Springville Museum of Art. I decided that until the baby can make her own decisions, she is going to be an art connoisseur. So naturally, we initiated her into the art realm by dipping her toes in the constantly cool pool of art provided by the SMA.

On display were some incredible quilts, and the graphic patterns and bright color schemes mesmerized little P. It ended up being the perfect art exhibit to share with an infant. (Honestly, could you imagine oogling over an original Rembrandt with a wee one?) The baby said that she's never seen so many huge burp rags before and that she was in heaven trying to decide which one was best. Fret not, we didn't let her barf on the art.

Also on exhibit were some extraordinary trompe l'oiell ceramic pieces in the form of women's accessories as well as a fantastic gourd artist who grows and harvests her own canvases. Awesome, huh?

My heaven is an art museum. Out of curiosity, do you have a heaven already picked out for yourself?
